The Pennsy Trails in Hancock County is now open from 400W to 600W, and beyond for 10 miles to Ritter Ave at Ellenberger Park, and 20 miles to the Indy Zoo. Safety Beacons have been installed at 500W and 600W crossings. Solar lights have been installed at 400W, 500W, and 600W crossings.

Trail rules are posted. The trail is open from dawn to dusk. Keep on the trail. Keep on the right side of the trail. Pass on the left after warning others on the trail. We do not have a speed limit posted and are asking bikers to slow around children on the trail.

We did NOT receive a grant to construct 400W to 300W. Volunteers are working to clear the invasive overwhelming honeysuckle so stone can be laid.

These are our 2024 volunteer days- please let us know how you are interested in helping us this year. Come to a work day, or schedule a workday for your youth group, or host a corporate workday.
